Job Description

Mikano International Limited is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Facility Supervisor to oversee the maintenance, safety, and efficient operation of its facilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all building systems, infrastructure, and grounds remain functional, compliant, and well-maintained. This role requires strong technical expertise in facility management, building maintenance, and contractor coordination.

Salary: ₦350,000 – ₦450,000 Monthly (Gross)
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and maintain facility systems, including electrical installations, plumbing networks, HVAC systems, generators, water treatment systems, and building structures.
  • Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance issues, safety concerns, and areas requiring repairs or improvements.
  • Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance schedules to ensure uninterrupted facility operations.
  • Troubleshoot facility-related issues and coordinate timely repairs for electrical, mechanical, plumbing, civil, and structural systems.
  • Monitor and manage contractors, technicians, and service providers to ensure quality work and compliance with standards.
  • Ensure adherence to health, safety, environmental, and building regulations through regular inspections and risk assessments.
  • Coordinate facility improvement projects, renovations, repairs, and maintenance activities while managing timelines and budgets.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inventories, inspections, and operational reports.

Requirements

  • B.Sc. or HND in Engineering, Building Technology, Estate Management, Facilities Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in facility management, building maintenance, or a similar role.
  • Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing systems, mechanical equipment, building maintenance, and civil/structural works.
  • Ability to identify, troubleshoot, and coordinate repairs for facility-related issues effectively.
  • Good understanding of local building regulations, safety standards, and environmental compliance requirements.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and contractor management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and facility maintenance reporting tools.
  • Ability and willingness to conduct site inspections and perform other physical activities required for facility oversight.
