Job Description

A reputable organization is seeking an experienced Head of Human Resources & Administration to oversee HR operations, talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, compliance, and general administrative functions. The role requires a strategic and hands-on HR professional with strong knowledge of Nigerian labour practices and experience managing HR functions in a fast-paced operational environment.

Location: Ipaja, Lagos

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage day-to-day human resources and administrative operations.
  • Develop and implement effective recruitment and talent acquisition strategies.
  • Oversee employee relations, performance management, and staff development initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with Nigerian labour laws, company policies, and HR best practices.
  • Manage employee records, HR processes, policies, and documentation.
  • Support workforce planning and provide strategic HR guidance to management.
  • Coordinate administrative activities to ensure smooth and efficient business operations.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Human Resources and Administration, preferably in a management position.
  • Strong knowledge of Nigerian labour laws, HR policies, and employment practices.
  • Proven experience in recruitment, performance management, employee relations, and HR operations.
  • Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • CIPM certification is an added advantage.
  • Experience in manufacturing, FMCG, or a similar operational environment is preferred.
Salary

N600,000 – N700,000 per month
Slightly negotiable based on experience.
