Job Description

A reputable company in the experiential marketing industry is seeking an experienced Senior Finance Manager to oversee financial operations, ensure regulatory compliance, strengthen internal controls, and provide strategic financial reporting. The ideal candidate will possess strong accounting expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to drive financial efficiency across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and monitor weekly cash flow reports for management review.
  • Oversee monthly revenue recognition and ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Manage the general ledger and supervise month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Prepare monthly provisions, accruals, prepayments, and supporting schedules.
  • Oversee accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations.
  • Ensure financial transactions comply with established organizational policies and procedures.
  • Implement and monitor effective internal control systems.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate financial and operational risks.
  • Ensure statutory compliance with VAT, WHT, PAYE, NSITF, ITF, and corporate tax obligations.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports and performance presentations for management.
  • Coordinate audit schedules and provide support during external audits.
  • Monitor budget performance and provide weekly budget tracking reports.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Professional certification such as ICAN, ACA, or ACCA is required.
  • Minimum of 4–5 years of progressive accounting or finance experience, including supervisory responsibilities.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, taxation, and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
