We are urgently seeking a Senior Corporate Finance Lawyer with a strong background in the energy sector and African markets. This role requires expertise in corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, and energy-related transactions, with the opportunity to contribute to high-impact projects in a dynamic industry.
Responsibilities:
- Provide legal counsel on corporate finance transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, and capital raising activities.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and agreements related to energy and investment banking projects.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements in the energy sector across African markets.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to mitigate risks and provide strategic legal advice on financial transactions.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 5–7 years of experience as a corporate finance lawyer, with proven expertise in the energy sector.
- Extensive knowledge of the African energy market and its regulatory landscape.
- Experience in investment banking or working on high-value financial transactions.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
