We are looking for an experienced Procurement Manager to oversee and streamline procurement activities within the construction sector. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and negotiation skills and be well-versed in sourcing high-quality materials, ensuring cost-efficiency, and maintaining industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with project goals and budgets.
- Source and negotiate contracts with suppliers, ensuring quality and timely delivery of construction materials.
- Manage procurement processes, including vendor selection, evaluation, and performance monitoring.
- Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions and compliance with industry regulations.
- Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to forecast material needs and minimize delays.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of procurement experience in the construction industry.
- Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems.
- Strong negotiation, leadership, and communication skills.
- Comprehensive knowledge of construction materials and industry standards.
- Certification in procurement (e.g., CIPS, CPSM) is an added advantage.
