Our client in the construction industry is looking for a skilled Purchasing Manager to oversee procurement activities and ensure the timely delivery of high-quality materials essential for construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet the company’s needs effectively.
- Source and negotiate with suppliers to secure cost-effective and quality materials.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment of supplies.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, suppliers, and pricing agreements.
- Collaborate with project managers to align procurement with project timelines and requirements.
Requirements
- A degree in a relevant field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Purchasing Manager in a construction company.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in procurement tools and inventory management.
