Salary: ₦700,000 – ₦900,000 per month
About the Role:
Our client, a leading transportation and logistics company in Ajaokuta, Kogi, is seeking an experienced and dynamic Chief Human Resources Manager to oversee and enhance the HR operations within the organization. This role requires an individual with a solid track record in human resource management, particularly within the manufacturing or haulage/transportation sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and practices that align with organizational goals.
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and talent management to ensure a high-performing workforce.
- Manage employee relations, conflict resolution, and compliance with labor laws and regulations.
- Direct the planning and execution of training and development programs for staff at all levels.
- Supervise the administration of compensation, benefits, and performance evaluation systems.
Job Requirements:
- A minimum of an MSc/BSc degree in Human Resources Management or related Social Sciences.
- Membership with CIPM or equivalent professional body is required.
- 8 – 15 years of cognate experience as an HR Manager, preferably in a manufacturing industry.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to lead and supervise effectively.
- Background experience in the haulage or transport (logistics) sector is essential.
