Salary Range: ₦300,000 – ₦350,000
We are seeking a proactive and qualified HSE Officer to join our team in Bayelsa State. As part of our commitment to maintaining a safe and compliant work environment, the ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring health, safety, and environmental standards are adhered to across all operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Lead safety training sessions and workshops to promote awareness and adherence to safety practices among employees and contractors.
- Investigate incidents and accidents, preparing detailed reports with recommendations to prevent future occurrences.
- Ensure compliance with all local, national, and international HSE regulations relevant to the oil and gas industry.
Job Requirements:
- ISPON certification with at least 3 years of HSE experience, preferably in the oil and gas sector.
- In-depth knowledge of HSE regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
