Health Systems Advisor (National)

Salary: N500,000 – N750,000 Monthly
Location: Abuja

Médecins du Monde (MdM) is seeking a dedicated and experienced Health Systems Advisor to oversee and support the implementation of primary health care programs in Nigeria. This role will involve engaging with government health personnel, partners, and organizations to ensure the successful delivery of health services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support and guidance to primary health care programs, focusing on program design, implementation, and monitoring.
- Develop and strengthen partnerships with local and national health authorities, NGOs, and other stakeholders to enhance program effectiveness.
- Ensure effective coordination of health services and contribute to the development of institutional capacity in collaboration with Ministry of Health personnel.
- Monitor and evaluate the progress of health programs, ensuring adherence to project objectives, targets, and timelines.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, MBBS, Public Health, or other relevant qualifications.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in primary health care programs.
- In-depth knowledge and experience in primary health care and nutrition services in Nigeria.
- Previous supervisory experience is an asset.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationships across various levels with Ministry of Health personnel, implementing partners, NGOs, and INGOs.
- Proven ability to develop both individual and institutional capacity.
