Salary: ₦400,000 – ₦500,000
Accountability Lab Nigeria is dedicated to building a more accountable and transparent society by supporting innovative solutions to governance challenges. We are seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Programs Officer to lead our governance programming and advocacy initiatives in Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage governance and advocacy programs aligned with the organization’s mission.
- Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including government officials, civil society organizations, and international partners.
- Monitor and evaluate program impact, preparing detailed reports and recommendations for improvement.
- Lead the development of proposals and secure funding opportunities to sustain and expand program initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Development Studies, Social Sciences, Public Administration, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in governance programming, advocacy, or similar fields, with at least 2 years in a senior programmatic role.
- Strong project management skills, including planning, execution, and evaluation.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
- Knowledge of the Nigerian governance landscape and a commitment to accountability and transparency principles.
