We are seeking a Junior UX Designer who is passionate about technology, usability, and open source. Location: Remote (EMEA Region)
Key Responsibilities
- Enhance User Experience – Design intuitive and user-friendly interfaces that improve the usability of Canonical’s products.
- Collaborate with a Multi-Disciplinary Team – Work closely with UX designers, visual designers, developers, and product managers to bring ideas to life.
- Conduct User Research – Gather insights through research, usability testing, and analytics to inform design decisions.
- Apply Design Best Practices – Use typography, color theory, layout principles, and accessibility guidelines to create polished and effective designs.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in User Experience, Design, or a STEM field.
- Passion for UX and Open Source – Demonstrated interest in user experience design and technology.
- Strong Communication Skills – Ability to present design concepts clearly to stakeholders.
- User Research Knowledge – Familiarity with research methodologies and usability testing.
- Self-Driven & Adaptive – Eagerness to learn, experiment, and solve complex design challenges.
