About the Role:
We are seeking a Project Leader (Engagement Manager) to drive impactful public sector transformations across Francophone Africa. In this role, you will collaborate with governments, donors, and key stakeholders to develop and implement strategies that advance policy commitments. You will lead complex projects, support high-level decision-making, and guide teams in achieving sustainable results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage senior government officials and donors to provide strategic advisory and capability-building support for high-priority projects.
  • Lead multiple workstreams, ensuring effective project execution, while coaching and mentoring client teams for long-term success.
  • Facilitate cross-sector collaboration, problem-solving, and continuous learning to drive sustainable impact.
  • Develop high-quality reports, presentations, and insights for stakeholders, ensuring clarity and data-driven decision-making.
  • Conduct interactive workshops and training sessions to enhance client capabilities and project delivery.
  • Contribute to business development, recruitment, and knowledge sharing within the organization.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Experience: 8+ years in the public sector, consulting, or international organizations, with proven client-facing delivery experience.
  • Technical Skills: Sector expertise in areas such as agriculture, health, education, climate, or international development is a plus.
  • Leadership & Project Management: Strong ability to lead teams and manage complex projects in dynamic environments.
  • Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both English and French.
  • Adaptability: Willingness to work across multiple regions and develop Delivery Associates’ activities across the continent.
