Job Description

Location: Port Harcourt | Sector: Oil & Gas | Salary: ₦12M – ₦22M (Annual Gross) + Fixed Allowances | Experience: Minimum 5 Years

A highly skilled Accounting Officer is needed to join our finance team in the Oil & Gas sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting business decision-making with accurate financial reports.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and manage financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting regulations.
  • Prepare financial statements, budgets, and management reports for decision-making.
  • Handle tax filings, audits, and regulatory compliance processes.
  • Oversee accounts payable, receivable, and reconciliation of financial discrepancies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in accounting.
  • Professional accounting certification (ACCA, ICAN, or CPA) is required.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, tax regulations, and accounting software.
