Location: FCT, Abuja | Experience: 2-3 years

About the Role:
A Procurement Officer with expertise in agricultural economics is needed to oversee sourcing, purchasing, and supplier management. The ideal candidate will ensure cost-effective procurement while maintaining quality and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies for agricultural and general supplies.
  • Source and evaluate suppliers, ensuring quality, cost-efficiency, and timely delivery.
  • Negotiate contracts and maintain strong vendor relationships.
  • Monitor inventory levels and forecast procurement needs.

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of procurement experience, preferably in the agricultural sector.
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain management and cost control.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
