About the Role

Premium Human Resource Solution is hiring a Fabrication Engineer for a short-term contract in Lagos. The ideal candidate will play a key role in marine repair and jack-up barge refurbishment projects, ensuring high-quality structural fabrication and welding work.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the fabrication and repair of marine structures, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Interpret and work with technical drawings, blueprints, and engineering specifications.
  • Supervise welding and steelwork operations, maintaining quality control.
  • Collaborate with engineers and technicians to optimize fabrication processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Marine Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in marine repair or jack-up barge refurbishment.
  • Strong expertise in welding, steelwork, and structural fabrication.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings.
  • Certifications in welding/fabrication are an advantage.
