St. Dominic Catholic Hospital is seeking a skilled Hospital Accountant to oversee financial transactions, budgeting, and reporting. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with financial regulations while optimizing financial processes within a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

  • Manage financial records, including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger.
  • Prepare financial reports, budgets, and forecasts for hospital management.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting regulations and healthcare financial policies.
  • Oversee payroll processing, tax filings, and financial audits.
  • Assist in financial planning and cost control to improve hospital efficiency.

Requirements

  • HND/Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • Professional certification (e.g., ACA, ACCA) is an added advantage.
  • 2-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a healthcare environment.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, laws, and regulations.
  • Proficiency in financial software and accounting systems.
