About the Role

A highly skilled Head Accountant is needed to lead the accounting department. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership, problem-solving, and mentoring skills. The ideal candidate will ensure the accuracy of financial reports, compliance with regulations, and the efficiency of the accounting team.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team to achieve high performance.
  • Analyze financial data to provide strategic recommendations for business growth.
  • Collaborate with other departments to optimize financial planning and cost control.

Requirements

  • Education: BSc in Accounting or a related field. Additional certifications such as ICAN or a PGD in Accounting are an advantage.
  • Experience: Minimum of 6 years in accounting, with proven leadership skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to mentor and develop a high-performing team.
