Salary: ₦350,000 – ₦380,000 (Net)
Job Overview:
A reputable accounting firm, is seeking an experienced Audit and Assurance Manager to lead their audit team in Abuja. This role requires a seasoned professional with strong leadership skills, in-depth knowledge of audit practices, and the ability to work independently while managing the team’s deliverables.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the audit and assurance team to ensure timely delivery of quality audit services.
- Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of audit engagements in compliance with auditing standards.
- Prepare detailed and accurate audit reports and financial statements for management review.
- Monitor compliance with tax laws and regulations and provide expert advice where necessary.
- Supervise, mentor, and train junior team members, ensuring continuous professional development.
Requirements:
- Chartered Accountant certified by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN).
- Minimum of 6 years’ continuous experience in an accounting firm, with expertise in audit and assurance.
- Excellent leadership, reporting, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and deliver results under pressure.
- Strong knowledge of Nigerian tax laws and proficiency in accounting and auditing standards.
