A growing business in the food and hospitality industry is seeking a highly skilled Head Accountant to lead and manage financial operations. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong leadership and analytical capabilities, as well as a deep understanding of industry-specific accounting practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal control policies.
- Manage and supervise the accounting team, providing mentorship and training as needed.
- Coordinate audits and liaise with external financial consultants or regulators.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar accounting role, preferably within the food or hospitality sector.
- Professional accounting certification such as ICAN, ACCA, ACA, or equivalent.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong managerial, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
