Job Overview

A manufacturing company located in the Alakuko/Kola axis of Lagos is seeking a diligent Account Officer (Entry Level) to support its finance department. The role involves managing day-to-day financial transactions, assisting with budgeting and reporting, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle daily accounting tasks, including accounts payable and receivable.
• Perform monthly reconciliations for accounts and stock.
• Support product costing and manage Bill of Materials (BOM).
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and financial regulations.
• Assist with payroll, tax calculations, and employee expense reimbursements.
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a finance or accounting role.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Strong attention to detail, integrity, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Familiarity with financial regulations and tax laws in Nigeria.
