An accredited university in Lagos is seeking a highly experienced University Registrar to oversee the administration and academic governance of the institution. This role is ideal for a seasoned academic leader with a deep understanding of higher education policy, compliance, and institutional operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the implementation and compliance of academic policies, procedures, and NUC standards.
- Manage all administrative functions related to student records, registration, and academic calendars.
- Collaborate with university leadership to drive institutional planning and accreditation processes.
- Lead and supervise registry staff to ensure efficient academic operations and student services.
- Serve as the custodian of student data and academic integrity across departments.
Requirements:
- Ph.D. in a relevant field (mandatory).
- Minimum of 15 years of administrative experience, with at least 5 years in a senior Registrar or academic leadership capacity.
- In-depth knowledge of National Universities Commission (NUC) guidelines and academic governance frameworks.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
