About the Role:
The Center for Clinical Care and Clinical Research (CCCRN) is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Finance Officer to support the THRIVE South Project, a 5-year USAID-funded initiative focused on transforming health and resilience across Akwa Ibom, Bayelsa, Cross River, Edo, and Lagos States. This role is essential to ensuring financial accountability and smooth execution of the project’s financial processes in line with donor and internal compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and reconcile bank vouchers, petty cash, and prepare bank reconciliations.
  • Manage QuickBooks entries for payments and retirements, and ensure proper coding of all transactions.
  • Process payments, prepare tax forms, manage accruals and prepaids, and oversee compliance with office tax regulations.
  • Support external audits, budget preparation, and month-end financial reporting.
  • Reconcile staff and project advances, and track incoming/outgoing cash transactions.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in accounting.
  • ICAN qualification (or in progress) is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and familiarity with QuickBooks.
  • Experience working on donor-funded projects.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, documentation, and audit compliance.
