Daystar Power, a leading provider of hybrid solar power solutions, is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Legal Associate to join its team in Lagos. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, supporting the company’s legal operations across multiple markets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts and agreements.
- Provide legal advice to internal departments on regulatory compliance, corporate governance, and risk management.
- Manage legal documentation and maintain proper filing systems for all contracts and corporate records.
- Liaise with external legal counsel and regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with local and international laws.
Requirements:
- A law degree with excellent academic performance and qualification to practice law in Nigeria.
- Minimum of five (5) years post-qualification work experience, preferably in a top-tier law firm.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in French will be an added advantage.
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a high-pressure environment.
