Backend Developer – Konga

Salary: ₦300,000 – ₦400,000 Per Month

Konga Online Shopping Limited, a leading e-commerce platform in Nigeria, is currently seeking a skilled Backend Developer to join its growing tech team. This role is ideal for a professional with a strong understanding of backend systems and a passion for building scalable and reliable applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend systems and APIs.
• Collaborate with frontend and mobile developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Troubleshoot and debug backend applications for performance and security issues.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation to ensure code quality.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 2 to 4+ years of hands-on experience in backend development (experience in frontend or mobile development is a plus).
• Proficiency in backend programming languages and frameworks (e.g., Node.js, Python, Java, or PHP).
• Experience with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
• Familiarity with version control tools like Git.
