Job Description
Salary: ₦150,000 – ₦180,000
Location: Wuse, Abuja (FCT)
A fashion production company in Wuse, Abuja is hiring a skilled Pattern Drafter/Cutter to join its team. The ideal candidate should have a solid background in fashion design with hands-on experience in drafting patterns and cutting fabrics for garment production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft accurate patterns based on design sketches and specifications
- Cut fabric efficiently while minimizing waste and maintaining precision
- Grade and adjust patterns to fit a range of sizes
- Collaborate with the production team to ensure proper garment construction
- Maintain a clear understanding of fabric types, garment measurements, and tailoring techniques
Requirements:
- Proven experience in pattern drafting and fabric cutting
- Strong knowledge of garment construction and fabric characteristics
- Ability to interpret fashion sketches and convert them into accurate patterns
- Minimum of a diploma, certificate, or formal training in fashion design or a related field
