Job Description:
An experienced Rotary Engineer is required for a prominent role within the Oil & Gas industry. The ideal candidate will bring over 8 years of hands-on experience to ensure efficient and reliable operations involving rotating equipment. This position is essential for optimizing mechanical systems and supporting the development of new technologies in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of rotating equipment including compressors, pumps, turbines, and engines.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules for all rotating machinery to ensure peak performance and minimize downtime.
- Conduct technical evaluations and provide solutions to mechanical issues impacting equipment.
- Collaborate with project teams to assist in the design, installation, and commissioning of new rotating machinery systems.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience working with rotating equipment in the Oil & Gas sector.
- HND or BSc in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related fields).
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, troubleshooting techniques, and preventive maintenance practices.
- Ability to work effectively in a team, and communicate complex technical issues clearly.
