Job Overview

A reputable organization in the food & beverage, retail, or quick service restaurant (QSR) industry is seeking a highly experienced Head of Internal Audit to lead its internal audit function. The ideal candidate will bring strategic insight, leadership, and technical expertise to strengthen internal controls, enhance risk management, and ensure regulatory compliance across the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the internal audit team to execute audits in line with professional standards and organizational objectives.
• Design and implement risk-based audit plans to evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, governance, and risk management.
• Report audit findings to senior management and recommend actionable solutions for process improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and supply chain, to ensure compliance and integrity of business processes.
• Oversee audit reporting, documentation, and communication with both internal and external stakeholders.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Professional certification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIA) is mandatory.
• Minimum of 8–10 years of internal audit experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership capacity.
• Strong industry knowledge in restaurant operations, supply chain, and inventory management.
• Proficient in audit tools, ERP/POS systems, and data analytics.
• High level of integrity, excellent communication skills, and the ability to present audit issues to non-technical stakeholders.
