Job Overview

An established company is seeking an experienced HR Specialist to join its team remotely. This role requires a highly skilled professional capable of managing HR functions across various areas, with specific expertise in payroll administration and a solid understanding of Nigerian labor laws.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and process employee payroll accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Ensure compliance with Nigerian labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Provide support across all areas of human resources including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and performance management.
  • Maintain and update HR policies, procedures, and employee records.
  • Handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Social Sciences, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a generalist HR role, preferably in the media, entertainment, or tech sector.
  • Strong knowledge of Nigerian labor laws and HR processes.
  • Proven experience in payroll administration.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
  • High ethical standards with a commitment to confidentiality.
  • HR certification or active progress towards certification is an added advantage.
