Job Overview

An opportunity is available for a detail-oriented and creative Marketing Associate to support the marketing activities at IO Furniture Ltd. The role requires a proactive individual with experience in retail marketing, particularly within the furniture or lifestyle sector. The successful candidate will manage marketing campaigns, retail events, digital content, and visual merchandising to help maintain a strong brand presence across all platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in implementing the company’s marketing strategy and ensure timely delivery of all planned activities.
  • Coordinate retail marketing events such as product launches, showroom activations, pop-up stores, and collaborations.
  • Manage the visual content and updates for the e-commerce platform, ensuring product listings are accurate, appealing, and current.
  • Oversee site photography, including scheduling, selection, documentation, and follow-up on post-production.
  • Develop marketing materials such as presentations, sales decks, reports, and communication content using Microsoft Office tools.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors, including photographers, printers, and stylists, to execute marketing campaigns.
  • Monitor competitor activities and contribute to insight reports for marketing improvements.
  • Build and maintain relationships with newspaper outlets and advertising platforms.
  • Stay updated on digital marketing trends and consumer behaviour to enhance brand storytelling and visual communication.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in marketing or retail.
  • Prior experience in the furniture, home, or lifestyle industry is an added advantage.
  • Strong coordination and project management skills with attention to detail and aesthetics.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
  • Familiarity with content creation tools such as Canva is desirable.
