Location: Abuja
Salary: ₦500,000 – ₦800,000 Monthly
A reputable firm is seeking a highly skilled Audit and Tax Manager to lead audit engagements and ensure tax compliance across various industries. This role requires a results-driven professional with strong leadership capabilities and in-depth knowledge of Nigerian tax laws and auditing standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage multiple audit and tax engagements simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Lead audit teams, providing direction, training, and performance evaluations.
- Ensure strict compliance with Nigeria’s FIRS tax regulations and local financial laws.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, offering strategic financial and tax advice.
- Review financial statements for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to IFRS and local GAAP.
- Utilize audit and accounting software such as CaseWare, QuickBooks, or similar tools for efficient reporting.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional certifications such as ICAN, CA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent (mandatory).
- Minimum of 5 years’ progressive external audit experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of Nigerian tax compliance, FIRS regulations, and international accounting standards.
- Proven leadership, excellent communication, and team management skills.
- Experience managing audits across multiple sectors is an added advantage.
