About the Role:
Vitafoam Nigeria Plc, a leading manufacturer in the foam and bedding industry, is seeking an experienced Production Manager to oversee the production processes at its Jos factory. This role is vital to ensuring efficient operations, maintaining product quality, and driving continuous improvement across the production line.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and control manufacturing processes to meet production targets.
- Ensure the efficient use of materials, equipment, and workforce.
- Supervise and develop production staff to maintain high levels of performance and safety.
- Monitor production standards and implement quality control procedures.
- Identify and resolve any issues that may arise in the production workflow.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Chemistry, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a production management role, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and production management software.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
