Nigerian British University is seeking a qualified and analytical Data Analyst to join its academic and administrative support team. The ideal candidate will use data to help drive informed decisions, streamline operations, and support institutional growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze complex datasets using Excel, SQL, and statistical tools to support decision-making.
  • Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations for various departments.
  • Develop and automate data workflows using Python or R.
  • Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data to provide actionable insights.

Requirements:

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, advanced formulas, and data visualization tools.
  • Working knowledge of SQL for querying and managing relational databases.
  • Experience in data analysis using R or Python.
  • Excellent pattern recognition and intuition for data interpretation.
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and effective communication skills.
