Job Description

A reputable organization is currently hiring a Microwave TAC Engineer with deep experience in Huawei microwave technologies. This role focuses on remote support and network optimization for microwave transmission systems, ensuring top-level performance and availability across client networks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide Level 2/3 remote technical support for Huawei Microwave products including RTN 900, RTN 300, and OptiX PTN.
  • Diagnose and resolve faults such as link failures, LOS, and latency issues.
  • Support new site integration, software upgrades, and configuration changes.
  • Interpret performance metrics (RSL, QoS, throughput) and suggest technical optimizations.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience managing and supporting Huawei Microwave networks.
  • Practical knowledge of RTN/OptiX platforms and tools like iManager U2000 or NCE-T.
  • Familiarity with L2/L3 protocols, QoS, and OSPF/MPLS will be an added advantage.
  • Ability to analyze microwave link budgets and interpret topology maps.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and documentation abilities.
