Job Description

An opportunity is open for skilled and passionate individuals to join a growing digital learning organization as a Python Programming Instructor. This role involves teaching Python programming to children and teenagers (ages 5–17), both virtually and at a physical training center in Port Harcourt. The ideal candidate will combine technical knowledge with strong communication and teaching skills to deliver engaging, practical lessons.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver structured and engaging Python programming lessons to young learners both online and onsite
  • Develop and upload course materials including videos, slides, quizzes, and projects to a learning platform
  • Provide student feedback, mentorship, and progress tracking throughout the course
  • Collaborate with other instructors and curriculum developers to ensure quality learning outcomes

Requirements:

  • Degree or diploma (BSc, HND, OND) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Prior experience teaching or mentoring children or teens in tech-related programs
  • Proficiency in Python basics including data types, functions, and beginner-level projects
  • Strong communication skills and ability to simplify technical concepts for younger learners
  • Familiarity with e-learning tools such as Zoom, Google Meet, Canva, Loom, or OBS
