Job Description
A reputable organization is seeking an experienced Asset Management Manager to oversee the proper documentation, tracking, maintenance, and optimization of company assets. The ideal candidate will ensure that all assets are efficiently utilized, well-maintained, and compliant with internal policies and external regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain an up-to-date asset register categorized by asset type, location, and department.
- Oversee tagging, classification, insurance, and registration of assets upon procurement.
- Develop preventive maintenance schedules for vehicles, generators, and critical equipment.
- Support finance in asset depreciation tracking and renewal planning.
- Coordinate asset disposal, reassignment, or redeployment in line with company policies.
- Work with internal departments (Procurement, Logistics, IT, etc.) and external vendors to manage the asset lifecycle.
- Track lease agreements, insurance renewals, and ensure compliance with government regulations.
- Maintain property documentation and support audits with accurate asset data.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Logistics, Engineering, or related fields.
- 4–7 years of relevant experience in asset management, logistics, facilities, or inventory control.
- Solid knowledge of asset accounting, tracking, and compliance standards.
- Experience managing various physical assets including vehicles, IT equipment, and properties.
- Familiarity with insurance, lease agreements, and local regulatory compliance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and asset management or ERP software.
