Job Description

Shell Petroleum Development Company (SPDC) is seeking a qualified Project Security Manager to support the planning, development, and execution of security architecture for projects across Nigeria. This role involves risk management, security integration, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to ensure safe and cost-effective operations in the Niger Delta and surrounding regions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and implementation of risk-based, cost-effective security solutions for projects.
• Oversee all project security operations and ensure smooth transition to the Asset Security Team upon project completion.
• Collaborate with contractors and project teams to align security planning with project execution strategies.
• Analyze geopolitical and security dynamics in the Niger Delta to inform security planning and risk mitigation.

Requirements:

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized institution; postgraduate qualifications in relevant fields are an advantage.
• At least 10 years of relevant experience in security management.
• Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
• Solid understanding of upstream oil and gas operations, particularly in the Niger Delta and Gulf of Guinea.
