A reputable oil and gas company in Rumuibekwe, Port Harcourt is currently recruiting for the role of Document Controller. This position is ideal for a professional with strong experience in managing tender and bidding documentation, and a high level of accuracy in handling project-related records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and control project documentation, including tender and bidding records.
- Track submission timelines and ensure timely updates and archiving of documents.
- Maintain proper documentation of payment-related files for easy access and auditing.
- Collaborate with technical and administrative teams to ensure consistent document standards are met.
- Utilize document control systems and tools to support efficient information management across departments.
Requirements:
- HND or BSc in Business Administration, Office Management, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 3–5 years’ hands-on experience as a Document Controller, preferably in tendering or payment functions.
- Strong knowledge of document management software and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PDF tools.
- Familiarity with best practices in document control within the oil and gas sector.
