Job Description
Mshel Homes Ltd is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to support its construction projects in Abuja. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of cost planning and control, providing accurate quantity measurements, and contributing to the financial efficiency of various projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and material schedules for construction projects
- Measure and evaluate construction work completed for progress payments and final accounts
- Review and validate contractor and supplier claims and invoices
- Support cost control processes including forecasting and financial reporting to project managers
- Assist in the preparation of tender documents, contract evaluations, and change orders
Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in the construction industry
- Strong analytical skills with an eye for detail and accuracy
- Solid understanding of construction contracts, industry standards, and cost estimation practices
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
