Job Description
A reputable construction company is hiring a Quantity Surveyor to support the financial and contractual coordination of ongoing projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for cost planning, budget control, procurement processes, and contract administration, ensuring that each project is executed within budget and to a high professional standard.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and tender documentation.
- Manage financial aspects of projects including cash flow and cost tracking.
- Evaluate bids, negotiate with subcontractors, and manage contracts.
- Monitor project costs, variations, and support claims or dispute resolutions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a construction-related role.
- Strong understanding of contract types including FIDIC, JCT, or NEC.
- Proficiency in MS Office and QS tools such as CostX or WinQS.
- Membership in NIQS, RICS, or a similar professional body is an advantage.
