Job Description

A fast-growing tech company is hiring a Senior Fullstack Software Engineer to join its product development team. This role is ideal for someone with strong experience in Laravel (PHP) and React.js, who has built scalable, user-focused web applications in the e-commerce domain. The successful candidate will contribute to the end-to-end development of a core e-commerce platform and work closely with cross-functional teams in a remote, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop scalable back-end services and APIs using Laravel (PHP)
  • Build and maintain responsive front-end interfaces with React.js
  • Collaborate with designers, product managers, and engineers to deliver features using Agile practices
  • Integrate third-party services including payment gateways and logistics tools
  • Ensure code quality through code reviews, documentation, and testing
  • Troubleshoot and resolve platform issues, ensuring stability and performance
  • Optimize relational databases such as MySQL/PostgreSQL for high-volume operations

Requirements
To apply for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Minimum 5 years of software development experience
  • Proficiency in PHP and deep experience with the Laravel framework
  • Strong command of JavaScript (ES6+) and hands-on experience with React.js
  • Prior experience in building e-commerce platforms (product listings, carts, payments, etc.)
  • Solid knowledge of MySQL or PostgreSQL
  • Familiarity with Git and RESTful API integration
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote, team-based setting

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Vue.js or similar frameworks
  • Knowledge of Docker and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
  • Familiarity with front-end build tools (e.g., Webpack, Vite)
  • Understanding of microservices architecture and TDD
