Job Description

Ribap Networks Limited, an innovative IT solutions company, is currently hiring a Technical Support Engineer to take charge of technical service delivery across solar systems, networking, CCTV installation, and internet infrastructure. The role involves hands-on technical work, supporting residential and commercial projects in Lagos and beyond.

Responsibilities include:

  • Installing and maintaining PTP/PTMP radio networks (Cambium, Mikrotik, Unifi)
  • Setting up and troubleshooting CCTV systems (Hikvision, Dahua)
  • Executing structured cabling, ensuring neat, labeled, and standard-compliant work
  • Conducting site surveys and generating technical reports and cost estimates
  • Installing and configuring routers, switches, access points, and radios
  • Providing technical support to clients both remotely and on-site
  • Monitoring deployed networks and responding to system outages

Requirements:
Applicants must:

  • Hold an OND, HND, or BSc in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
  • Have 1–2 years of hands-on technical experience
  • Be skilled in PTP/PTMP wireless systems and structured cabling
  • Be familiar with CCTV setup and basic network troubleshooting
  • Be able to interpret technical site plans and customer needs
  • Possess good communication skills and a valid driver’s license
  • Be physically able to work on rooftops, ladders, and in outdoor conditions

Accommodation is available for candidates coming from outside Lagos (a private ensuite room in a shared flat near project sites). This is intended for single occupancy and not families.
