Job Description

A reputable IT solutions company, Ribap Networks Limited, is hiring a Technical Support Engineer to support installations and maintenance of internet and security systems across residential and commercial sites. The role involves hands-on technical work, client support, and collaboration with other technicians to ensure timely and quality project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install and maintain Point-to-Point and Point-to-Multipoint radio networks (Cambium, Unifi, Mikrotik)
  • Set up and troubleshoot CCTV systems (Hikvision and Dahua) for residential and commercial clients
  • Conduct site surveys to assess project scope, prepare technical documentation, and estimate costs
  • Configure and maintain networking hardware including routers, switches, and access points
  • Provide both remote and on-site technical support to clients

Requirements
Candidates must:

  • Have an ND, HND, or BSc in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Possess at least 1–2 years of hands-on experience in similar roles
  • Demonstrate solid knowledge of radio equipment, structured cabling, and CCTV installation
  • Be physically able to work on ladders and rooftops under different weather conditions
  • Hold a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel for fieldwork

  • Accommodation is provided for non-Lagos-based hires (private ensuite room in shared flat)
  • This role includes on-call technical assignments and occasional weekend work
