Job Description
Oando Foundation is hiring a Programmes Manager to oversee the strategy, execution, and evaluation of its educational and environmental programmes. This role requires a strong background in programme management, stakeholder engagement, and resource mobilization within the non-profit or development sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving impact in education-focused initiatives under the Foundation’s LEARNOVATE programme, with a focus on foundational learning, green skills, and advocacy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic direction for the Foundation’s education programmes in alignment with its overall mission.
- Lead the design, implementation, and evaluation of multiple projects under the LEARNOVATE programme.
- Oversee project planning, partner management, and communication efforts for programme success.
- Manage the Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) framework to track progress, gather insights, and report outcomes.
- Identify and engage funding and technical partners to support programme scale-up and sustainability.
- Ensure compliance with donor requirements and internal programme policies.
Job Requirements:
- A first degree in any discipline; a postgraduate degree in Education is an added advantage.
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience in project management, with at least 5 years in a managerial capacity within a non-profit or development organization.
- Project Management Certification is required.
- Strong understanding of the Nigerian basic and secondary education systems.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects, teams, and partnerships.
