Job Description
A leading eCommerce-focused agency is hiring an experienced Email Marketing Strategist to manage and grow the email strategy for multiple online brands. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on autonomy, loves using data to drive decision-making, and is passionate about building email systems that increase customer lifetime value and revenue.
The strategist will oversee up to 15 eCommerce clients and is expected to own the end-to-end strategy, from audits to experimentation and performance reporting. The right candidate will have a strong track record in email marketing, understand SMS and loyalty systems, and be ready to contribute from day one.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute tailored email marketing strategies for up to 15 eCommerce brands
- Conduct audits, analyze KPIs, and identify bottlenecks across email, SMS, subscriptions, and loyalty programs
- Build and maintain performance roadmaps and client-specific playbooks
- Design and run A/B tests to optimize segmentation, timing, offers, and email flows
- Present strategies and performance updates to clients and internal teams regularly
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in email marketing for eCommerce or DTC brands
- Proficiency in Klaviyo and other email tools; experience with flows, segmentation, and analytics
- Strong understanding of SMS marketing, loyalty programs, and post-purchase flows
- Ability to audit email performance, interpret data, and present actionable strategies
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills
Preferred:
- Experience with tools like Triple Whale, Peel, Lifetimely
- Ability to build repeatable systems and strategic playbooks
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking ability
Career Growth:
This role offers a clear path to Lead Strategist within 12 months, depending on performance.
Salary: $2,000 – $3,000/month
Time Zone Preference: EST (8 AM – 5 PM preferred)
