QA Specialist – Remote | SaaS Company
Job Description
A fast-growing SaaS company is hiring a QA Specialist to join its remote-first team. The company builds internal automation tools used by thousands of small and mid-sized businesses globally. This role is ideal for someone with a strong eye for detail and a passion for maintaining product quality through rigorous testing and collaboration.
As part of the engineering team, the QA Specialist will work closely with product managers, designers, and developers to ensure smooth product performance, identify bugs early, and uphold a consistent user experience across web-based applications.
Responsibilities:
- Manually test new features and product improvements before release
- Reproduce, document, and track bugs to ensure timely resolution
- Maintain and improve regression test checklists and QA workflows
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to strengthen quality control processes
- Build out a lightweight regression testing suite using tools like Notion
- Take ownership of the QA process for a designated product area
Requirements:
- 1–3 years of experience in QA, product testing, or technical support roles
- Strong understanding of testing web-based applications across browsers and devices
- Excellent attention to detail and clear documentation skills
- Comfortable working asynchronously and communicating effectively in remote setups
- Familiarity with tools such as Linear, Notion, or Postman is a plus
