Job Description

The Concept Group is seeking a strategic and experienced Lead, Learning and Development to oversee all soft skills training, career development activities, and training needs analysis within the organization. This role focuses on identifying skills gaps, creating effective training interventions, and ensuring workforce capability is enhanced and retained.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, develop, and implement training and staff development programs using a variety of methods such as classroom sessions, workshops, and on-the-job training.
  • Conduct training needs analysis in collaboration with line managers, identify skills gaps, and create targeted training interventions.
  • Design, coordinate, and monitor annual training calendars, induction programs, and employee orientation sessions.
  • Track, evaluate, and report on training effectiveness using pre/post assessments, performance data, and appraisal results.
  • Manage the Learning and Development budget, policies, and processes, ensuring continuous improvement and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Liaise with external training partners when necessary and ensure compliance with statutory training requirements.

Requirements

  • Degree in Human Resource Management, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in Learning and Development or Organizational Development.
  • Professional certification or membership is an added advantage.
  • Strong understanding of industry laws and regulations.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and leadership skills.
  • Proven ability to achieve service and performance goals.
