Embedded Systems Engineer at Innov8 Hub
Job Description
Innov8 Hub is looking for a talented Systems Engineer with strong expertise in embedded systems, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Machine Learning (ML). This role involves developing intelligent automation solutions, designing hardware and firmware, and integrating advanced communication technologies into robotics and drone systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop embedded systems including circuit schematics, PCB layouts, and firmware.
- Implement AI and ML algorithms for automation and real-time decision-making.
- Integrate wireless communication protocols such as Wi-Fi, LoRa, Bluetooth, and 5G into embedded devices.
- Work with sensor fusion techniques involving GPS, IMU, LiDAR, and computer vision for navigation systems.
- Conduct hardware debugging, testing, and performance optimization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of AI-driven perception and control systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Robotics, Mechatronics, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years hands-on experience in embedded system development.
- Strong knowledge of PCB design and microcontroller programming (ARM, STM32, ESP32, etc.).
- Proficiency in Python, C/C++, ROS, and embedded firmware development.
- Experience with AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or OpenCV.
- Familiarity with embedded computing platforms like NVIDIA Jetson and Raspberry Pi.
- Ability to troubleshoot and debug embedded systems at hardware and software levels.
- Knowledge of computer vision, LiDAR mapping, and sensor fusion.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS).
- Familiarity with cloud-based AI/IoT solutions for remote monitoring and control.
- Understanding of RF communication and telemetry systems.
