Key Responsibilities
- Manage inbound and outbound calls or digital correspondence related to patient support, appointment scheduling, and benefit verification.
- Assist patients in understanding healthcare coverage, treatment plans, and billing inquiries.
- Maintain accurate and updated records using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Verify insurance eligibility, process prior authorizations, and collaborate with clinical and administrative teams for smooth care coordination.
- Ensure strict compliance with HIPAA and other healthcare data protection standards.
- Provide empathetic, timely, and effective solutions to maintain patient satisfaction.
Candidate Requirements
- Education: Associate degree or certification in healthcare administration, medical assisting, or a related field; a bachelor’s degree is an added advantage.
- Experience: 1–3 years in healthcare support, patient services, or a call center environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in EHR platforms (e.g., Epic, Cerner) and healthcare CRM tools.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication with the ability to simplify complex healthcare details clearly and empathetically.
