Job Description
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) is recruiting a Workforce Manager for AFCON 2025. This role is crucial in planning, coordinating, and supporting the tournament’s workforce, including staff, interns, and volunteers. The position also involves leading the AFCON 2025 Internship Program, ensuring it delivers immediate tournament support while creating long-term legacy benefits for CAF.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and oversee the AFCON 2025 Internship Program, including recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance monitoring.
- Support the development and execution of the overall Workforce Plan, ensuring effective scheduling, deployment, and administrative processes.
- Manage logistics such as transport, meals, uniforms, and accommodations for workforce members.
- Act as the primary point of contact for interns and staff, handling inquiries, offering support, and fostering engagement across the workforce.
- Coordinate recognition initiatives, knowledge-sharing workshops, and legacy-building activities to strengthen CAF’s workforce development.
- Produce reports on workforce progress, lessons learned, and recommendations for sustaining internship pathways beyond AFCON 2025.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Event Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in workforce management or large-scale event operations.
- Proven expertise in managing internship, volunteer, or workforce development programs.
- Strong organizational, planning, and administrative skills.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities, with a culturally inclusive and adaptable mindset.
Location: Hybrid/Morocco (Travel Required) – Fully based in Rabat, Morocco starting from November
