Job Description
Tiko is seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Chief Impact Officer to lead its impact agenda, strengthen measurement frameworks, and ensure actionable insights that drive meaningful change in Adolescent Sexual and Reproductive Health (ASRH). The role requires a leader who blends academic rigor with community-level insights, while fostering a culture of evidence-driven decision-making across the organization and beyond.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, refinement, and implementation of Tiko’s measurement, research, and learning framework aligned with the Theory of Change and organizational impact goals.
- Oversee evidence generation on programme performance, service integration, and cost-effectiveness, ensuring that findings inform programme design and delivery.
- Drive data innovation, predictive analytics, and governance across multi-country programmes while ensuring compliance with ethical and regulatory standards.
- Strengthen strategic partnerships with governments, funders, and global stakeholders to position ASRH as a priority investment area.
- Manage Tiko’s research agenda, including evaluations, RCTs, and peer-reviewed publications, while representing the organization in global health forums.
- Mentor and support the Impact Team, oversee departmental budgets, and promote knowledge-sharing across multiple country contexts.
Requirements
- Ph.D in Public Health, Epidemiology, Data Science, Statistics, Health Economics, Medical Sociology, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 7 years of senior-level experience in research, Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL), and data systems in Sub-Saharan Africa.
- At least 5 years of experience collaborating with Ministries of Health and engaging both public and private sector stakeholders.
- Proven expertise in ASRH measurement (FP, HIV, SGBV) and cost-effectiveness analysis.
- Experience with Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), predictive analytics, and advanced statistical methods to optimize programme delivery.
- Strong record of peer-reviewed publications and leadership of multi-country evaluations.
- Excellent skills in managing multicultural teams and fostering partnerships across diverse contexts.
